Clarendon College celebrated their ninth ISSA/WATA daCosta Cup title at their base in Chapleton yesterday.

The scores of students and teachers, who crammed inside the school's Stuart Hall Auditorium were in a party mood, as they danced to the selection of music blaring through the PA system.

This year's celebration was not as elaborate or extended as last year's, when the team paraded through the town of Chapleton with the trophy, after a lengthy devotion.

Team manager, Richard Palmer, explained that they shortened the celebrations this year  in order to maintain their focus ahead of Saturday's Oliver Shield final against Jamaica College.

"We want to show we are the best team in Jamaica and that is the whole aim and ambition," he said
