JPL: Dunbeholden clip Vere 2-1

Dunbeholden kicked off their campaign in this season’s Jamaica Premier League (JPL) competition with a 2-1 victory over Vere United at the UWI-JFF Captain Horace Burrell Centre of Excellence yesterday.
Atapharoy Bygrave in the eighth minute and Jamiel Hardware, 90th, were the scorers for Dunbeholden. Lamar Neil scored for Vere United in the 54th minute.
Meanwhile, in the second match of the double-header, Tivoli Gardens and Portmore United played to a 1-1 draw. Warner Brown scored for Tivoli Gardens in 43nd before Shai Smith netted Portmore's equaliser in the 87th minute.
