Jamaica's sprint hurdler Danielle Williams set a world-leading time in the 60m hurdles as she continued her indoor season at the Tiger Paw Invitational today in Clemson, South Carolina.

Williams became the second-fastest Jamaican of all time over the distance with a time of 7.75 seconds to win the final ahead of Paula Salmon (7.83) of North Carolina AT&T. Masai Russell of the University of Kentucky was third in 7.93. She missed Olympian Michelle Freeman's national record (7.74) by just one hundredth of a second.

Williams is now tied for 12th on the all-time list with Bettine Jahn (who represented East Germany) and Canada's Perdita Felicien.
