Champs 22 | Calabar's Lawrence in Class One discus final

Calabar High's Kobe Lawrence qualified for the final of the Class One boys discus at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls Athletic Championships on Wednesday. Lawrence had the best throw of 58.01 metres. Clarendon College's Ricardo Hayles advanced with the second longest, 54.52m, while Edwin Allen's Trevor Gunzell had the third longest throw with 53.25m.

The other finalists are St Jago's Shaiquan Dunn, Edwin Allen's Christopher Young, Jamaica College's Shamar Reid, Kingston College's Altwayne Bedward, Yekini Bowen of Petersfield High, Tio Josh Mowatt, Chavez Grey of William Knibb High School, Denzs Simmonds of Calabar High and Alex Watkins of Dinthill Technical.
