A clinical display from former champions Clarendon College saw them opening the round of 16 of the ISSA daCosta Cup with a comfortable 5-0 win over Rusea’s in their group-three encounter at Foga High School.

From the opening whistle, CC were all over the visiting Rusea’s side, who went behind in the first minute of the game through Malachi Douglas.

Nine minutes later CC doubled their lead when Devonti Hodges headed home from close range.

The shell-shocked Rusea’s team had hardly gathered themselves when they went further behind in the 40th minute through Keheim Dixon.

That would be all for the first half, but CC wanted more and came out more purposeful in the second half.

They would go four goals up in the 64th minute when Dixon again pounced before Christopher Hull rounded out the scoring in the 70th minute.
