Thompson-Herah wins first 60 metre of the season

Double Sprint Olympic champion Elaine Thompson-Herah opened her 2023 season with a win in the 60m at the Queens Grace Jackson Meet this evening at the National Stadium.

Thompson-Herah clocked 7.15 seconds for victory.

There was only one 60m race tonight as athletes from the MVP Track Club pulled out because of delays in the programme.

The meet ran 30 minutes behind schedule.
