Nkrumie, Todd take Carifta Trials boys’ 100 metres

Kingston College's (KC) Bouwahjgie Nkrumie had a comfortable win in the Under-20 boys’ 100 metres on the second day of the Carifta Trials this evening at the National Stadium.

Nkrumie clocked 10.18 seconds for victory, ahead of reigning Carifta Games champion DeAndre Daley of Herbert Morrison, who finished second in 10.37. Jamaica College’s (JC) Hector Benjamin was third in 10.46.

Tramaine Todd of St Elizabeth Technical won the Under-17 title in 10.58 seconds, with Khamani Gordon of Calabar coming in second in 10.78. Nathaniel Martin of JC was third in 10.85.
