Beckford stakes claim for Carifta place with U20 400m Trials title

Tonyann Beckford looks a picture of relaxation after winning the girls' under-20 400 metres at the Carifta Trials on at he National Stadium today.

Edwin Allen's Tonyan Beckford captured the under-20 girls’ 400m title on the third and final day of the Carifta Trials on at the National Stadium.

Beckford clocked 57.33 seconds for victory, while Alliah Baker of Hydel was second in 57.60. Annalice Brady of Holmwood Technical was third in 59.33.
