#TRIALS2023 | Beckford wins national high jump title

Romaine Beckford is the 2023 national high jump champion.
Beckford, with a first-time clearance of 2.23 metres at the National Senior and Junior Championships at the National Stadium earlier today, forced former Wolmer’s Boys’ School standout Christoff Bryan to settle for second.
Bryan was also over 2.23 but had two failures at the height.
GC Foster College’s Lushane Wilson finished third with his 2.15-metre clearance.
