Edwin Allen’s Akaylea Brown and Asia McKay finished first and second in the girls’ under-18 high jump at the ongoing National Senior and Junior Championships inside the National Stadium earlier today.

Brown topped the three-competitor field with a 1.65-metre effort. McKay also cleared 1.65 but lost on countback after her Edwin Allen teammate cleared the height on her first attempt, while she only managed to get over on her final jump.

Convent and Mercy Academy’s (Alpha), Danielle Lyn, was third, clearing the bar at 1.50 metres.
