In the only final involving senior athletes in the first session of todays final day of the JAAA/PUMA National Senior and Junior Championships inside the National Stadium, Nayoka Clunis captured the women's hammer throw.

The only competitor in the field, the former Excelsior High School standout threw a best mark of 70.17 metres on her first attempt.

This is the fourth time this season Clunis was going over the 70-metre mark.

She has a season’s best of 71.13 metres.
