St Catherine High School's Kittania Headley (right) runs towards a famous girls' under-20 national title, finishing ahead of Alphansus Davis' Kishay Rowe during the JAAA/PUMA NAtional senior and Junior Championships inside the National Stadium earlier today.

St Catherine High School’s Kitiana Headley pulled off a big upset in the girls’ under-20 800 metres at the JAAA/PUMA National Senior and Junior Championships after turning back the consistent Kishay Rowe of Alphonsus Davis inside the National Stadium this evening.

Headley won in two minutes, 11.41 seconds ahead of Rowe, who hit the tape in 2:12.85.

Rowe’s teammate, carlene Temple, was third in 2:29.03.
