Jamaica’s Danielle Williams produced a season’s best to stun a remarkable field and claim the women’s 100 metres hurdles title at the World Championship in Budapest, Hungary, today.

Williams clocked 12:43 seconds to pip Jasmine Camacho Quinn on the line, with the Puerto Rican registering 12:44. The United States of America’s Kendra Harrison took the bronze medal in 12:46.

The other Jamaican in the race, Ackera Nugent, had to settle for fifth after clocking 12:61 seconds.
