Jamaica’s Lamar Distin clears 1.94 metres to finish fifth in the women’s high jump today at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary.

Lamar Distin was fifth in the women's high jump at the World Athletics Championships today in Budapest, Hungry.

Distin produced a jump of 1.94 metres to finish behind winner Yaroslava Mahuchikh of Ukraine, who took the gold with a leap of 2.01 metres.

Eleanor Patterson of Australia claimed the silver with 1.99 metres, and Nicola Olygslager, also of Australia, the bronze with the identical height.
