Allen not retiring

JAMAICAN QUARTER-MILER Nathon Allen has come out to say he is not retiring from the sport.

A Sunday Gleaner article on May 26 titled ‘Dwyer, Allen follow Bloomfield into retirement’, erroneously said Allen, the Olympic 4x400 silver medallist, and three-time 4x400 World Championships silver medallist, had called time on his career.

Allen posted to social media that he was not retiring and in a letter to this newspaper, asked that the same be expressed to the public.
