Jackson hurt in Hungary
Shericka Jackson pulled up just metres from the line at the Gyulai István Memorial in Hungary earlier today.
Jackson, the double sprint national champion, who holds the hopes of Jamaica in both sprints, walked over the line in 36.29 seconds after leading right up until the moment she pulled up 10 metres from the tape.
The 200-metre world champion was able to walk away from the race on her own steam, the nature of the injury unknown.
In her absence, St Lucia's Julian Alfred hit the tape first in a season’s best 22.16 seconds.
