EDWIN ALLEN HIGH School recently got a financial boost for their daCosta Cup football team, chairman of Past Edwin Allen Ballaz Association (PEABA), Dallas Harris, donating a cheque for $1.6 million to principal of the school, Jermaine Harris.

The association’s financial contribution comes on an annual basis with this year’s donation being the largest since the formation of PEABA in 2021.

Harris was very happy for the financial boost.

“The football programme is part of the comprehensive model of the school and the mission is to provide a holistic education system for all Edwinites. We are extremely happy for the contribution, as without it, it would almost be impossible for the continuation of the programme,” said Harris.

Edwin Allen, coincidentally, said Harris was celebrating their 60th anniversary.

Harris was also happy to contribute.

“We are happy for the relationship with the school and we are doing all we can to help in whatever way possible,” said Harris.

The association is also planning to build a dormitory at the school to house football players, said Harris.
