Hats off to NLA
THE EDITOR, Sir:
In order to effect a title search recently, I had to pay a visit, for the first time, to the Titles Office of the National Land Agency (NLA) on Hanover Street, Kingston.
Planning to spend a couple of hours, I was pleasantly surprised when the clerk told me it would only take a minute. After I paid the relevant fee it was not long before I was leaving the office, title in hand. The office is well kept, the customer service excellent and all the agents with whom I came in contact were courteous and efficient.
I had to then visit the agency's facility on Ardenne Road and was treated to more of the same courtesy and efficiency. I was moved to write to you to share my experience with your readers.
We are always complaining, so I think that when we can commend we should not hesitate to do so.
Congratulations to the NLA, and keep up the good work.
I am, etc.
