- On the range
Next year's Range Rover diesel engine will have an updated sequential turbo-charging 4.4-litre LT-TDV8 with a 308 horse power, pushing 516 pound-feet of torque.
Power to the ground will go through a new ZF eight-speed automatic. Zero to 100km/h will take 7.5 seconds and a set of ventilated lightweight aluminium six-piston Brembo brakes will bring the vehicle to a halt.
The combined cycle-fuel consumption of the new LR-TDV8 4.4-litre is 30.1mpg, making this the first Range Rover ever to better 30mpg.
