Grace Foods is offering a new way to 'power up your pot' with its latest creation, Grace One Pot Seasoning. In fact, it is more than a seasoning, as it delivers an interesting flavour of herbs, spices and tasty protein chunks, in one sachet. This new product can both spruce up existing protein in meals, or serve as a fulfilling substitute while helping consumers meet their daily protein requirements.

"In this global environment, Grace Foods has been aggressively seeking affordable and nutritious meal solutions to feed our population. We are proud to say that we have found such a product in our Grace One Pot Seasoning that can provide at least 10 per cent of the daily allowance of protein, if one pack is used to prepare a meal for a family of four," said Erwin Burton, chief executive officer of GK Foods Division and deputy chief executive officer, GraceKennedy Ltd.

Economic solution

Grace One Pot Seasoning is an economic solution for consumers who want value and convenience. With three great flavours: All Purpose, Curried Chicken and Cock, it is an excellent complement to a wide range of recipes - including rice, vegetable, pasta, meat and ground produce-based dishes. Grace One Pot Seasoning's distinctive packaging will be visible in the rice/pasta sections of grocery retail outlets islandwide. Each sachet is available at a price of less than $50.

"An important area of the New Product team's focus is to understand the changing needs of our consumers. Grace One Pot Seasonings were designed to meet the growing need for more affordable meal solutions. The range not only offers the unique nutritious benefit of added protein in a seasoning pack, but is also versatile, convenient and tasty. The family can now share in quick and easy, nutritious meals, all in 'One Pot'," said Angeline Gillings, business development manager (New Products), Grace Foods.

Grace One Pot Seasoning is very easy to prepare. To season rice, just boil four cups of water, add one pack of Grace One Pot Seasoning and dissolve a quarter stick of margarine. Stir in one pound of rice and cook as usual. It adds that extra 'something' to the taste, and the added protein is a great way of 'stretching' the food so that more servings can be had from a mouth-watering meal.
