New menu, great flavours and one of the best dining locations in Montego Bay are among reasons to dine at Pier One on the Waterfront in November during the Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week.

From their conch fritters with escoveitched sauce, tamarind jerk chicken kebabs to the Pier One special, lobster, the culinary and management team is leaving nothing to chance in cementing Pier One's presence in Montego Bay as an ultimate dining location.

While Pier One is famous for its nightlife-entertainment activities, Anne-Kay Russell revealed that they offer a diverse menu that caters to the local palate, so persons are encouraged to dine.

"Our Pier One snapper veracruz is very popular among our customers that we retained it on this new menu. But what we have done is to overhaul our old menu and make adjustments to what we had on it to give it something different," Russell stated.

Something that many will get a chance to experience come Restaurant Week is Pier One's grilled dolphin, dubbed the Mahi Mahi, with lemon butter, and the Pier One Tuscan pork chops.

"The grilled Mahi Mahi with lemon butter is something new that will be on the Restaurant Week menu and it is something I would definitely encourage persons to try. It's not like anything you've had before. Also, persons always ask us about pork. We didn't have it on our menu, but we decided to add it and, so far, the response to the Tuscan pork chops has been great," she added.

With its rustic outdoor bar and dining area, it is not just a restaurant but also an attraction. With a marina nearby and a beautiful view of the sunset, there is never a dull moment at Pier One.
