Appleton comes out on top

Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum has been named among Drinks International's Top 10 Best Selling Rum Brands and Top 10 Trending Rum Brands lists for 2012.

Following the revelation, managing director for J. Wray & Nephew Limited, Paul Henriques, told Food, "We are thrilled that bar owners and bartenders around the world have voted Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum to these two prestigious world listings. The success of the brand in our export markets is the result of the efforts of our international team and our network of distributors and agents around the world. They have done an excellent job of marketing Appleton in over 50 countries to which it is exported."

The lists are compiled each year by Drinks International based on interviews conducted with bar owners and bartenders representing Drinks International's Top 50 Bars from across the globe.
