The former Scotiabank Premier Branch location was recently reopened to accommodate a new Scotiabank Express banking centre. The location is part of the bank's continued initiative to provide numerous touchpoints to facilitate convenient banking options for customers.

Equipped with eight automated teller machines, tablets for access to Scotia Online and free Wi Fi, the new Scotiabank Express Premier location will also facilitate extended opening hours, allowing customers to embrace more efficient banking options. The centre will be staffed by Scotiabank digital ambassadors and tellers, who will be on hand to guide them on convenient self-service banking options including online banking and mobile banking.

"Our aim is to make the customer experience with Scotiabank as seamless and efficient as possible," said Yanique Forbes Patrick, vice-president of marketing. "Scotiabank recognises that customers have a greater need for convenience and self-service channels and are in the process of reorganising our banking practice to offer easy-to-use-technologies and services to all," she continued.

IMMEDIATE RESULTS

This new express banking centre will allow customers to use technology to perform the most common transactions, including make balance enquiries, withdrawals, deposits; check balances; pay bills, including mortgage and credit card payments - up to $50,000 for cash transactions and $250,000 for cheque deposits. "It makes it easier to complete all your regular day-to-day banking needs quickly and easily" says Forbes Patrick. "Technology has empowered our customers to expect efficient and immediate results in all areas, including banking, and Scotiabank is committed to simplifying these experiences."

The Scotiabank Express Premier centre will open until 6 p.m. on weekdays and 3:30 p.m. on Saturdays. This is the second in a series of additional touchpoints offered by Scotiabank, the first being the express banking kiosk that opened at MegaMart last December.

Additional express banking centres are expected to open soon at various key locations in and around the Kingston and St Andrew area.
