Snack Pairing For Christmas!

The Christmas break has started and the children are home for approximately four weeks. Ensuring that they eat well and have a variety of foods can be tricky, especially if you, the parent, will be working for most of the time. Food joined gastronomic forces with Ojay Koolers Limited, a sugar-free household name, and Veg Out, a brand of meatless veggie burgers.

As you already know, sorrel contains a host of beneficial health properties that helps in detoxifying the body, lowering blood pressure and bad cholesterol. Ojay Koolers has found a way to make sorrel taste just like it came fresh from grandma’s kitchen, with an ample amount of ginger and no sugar added. Healthy, nutritious and right in time for the festive season. When paired with the tasty Veg Out burgers, snack time, lunchtime or even brunch time takes on a whole new meaning.

What’s so special about these Veg Out burgers? They come in three flavours: Chickpea, black bean and vegetable. Each patty has a distinct flavour, so the children will never be bored. And, it doesn’t even take much preparation. All you have to do is open the packet while it’s still frozen, aad a little oil to avoid the patty being stuck to the frying pan and cook until done. It can even be used for the perfect Boxing Day get-together. Fire up the grill, invite your friends and family over and have your very own burger fest.

While these Veg Out burgers taste nothing like beef, they are quite scrumptious. Feel free to add your favourite burger buns and condiments. If you want to personalise your Veg Out experience, try making your own unique burger sauce and, just like that, you would have started a new family tradition burger recipe that is unique to your home.
