Bootleg Rocstar’s take on Kate

Neko ‘Bootleg Rocstar’ Kelly is a popular fashion stylist and creative director who recently received the Prime Minister Youth Award for Arts & Culture.

Known for creating stunning looks and concepts for celebrities, influencers and artistes, The Sunday Gleaner asked the in-demand Kelly to give us his take on the Duchess of Cambridge’s looks while she was on island for the royal visit with her husband, Prince William.

“This was a brilliant outfit to kick off the Jamaican leg of her tour. A very bold yellow in a way sets an optimistic tone for her visit. The choice of white pumps and clutch to top it all off was superb.”

“This might be my favourite look of the tour. There is so much going on with this dress, from the colours, to the stripes to a second layer of print. It was a lot, but it was perfect. It’s bold, comfortable and playful, which really embodies what resort or Caribbean style is.”
