Foton’s local dealership, Key Motors Ltd, hosted a three-day auto show event from September 15 -17 at the Police Officers’ Club in Kingston to showcase its range of Foton vehicles, including heavy- and light-duty trucks, buses, vans, and pickups.

The specially-featured vehicle of the event was the Auman Garbage Compactor - the country’s first self-loading garbage truck with Euro 6 emissions, built to reduce pollutants for a more sustainable Jamaica. It also boasts a modern and spacious cabin. Persons were able to observe how the self-loading functionality works, making it easier to load and dispose of heavy waste.

Other vehicles on display included the Auman 8x4 Water Tanker, Aumark 5-Ton Wrecker, Ollin Box Truck, Tunland G7 Pickup, Toano Van, and the AUV H7 29-Seater Bus. The event created a space to showcase the variety of vehicles offered for commercial use and how many of the models can be customised or modified for special purposes. Foton also supplies a range of Dumper trucks, ambulances, and heavy-duty equipment trucks.
