Fire victim says thanks

THE EDITOR, Sir:

It has been one month since my house was burnt down in Cockburn Pen, St Andrew, which was covered under the newspaper headline 'Christmas crushed'.

It has been a rough month having to start all over again, having been burnt out three times, but I want to say thanks to all who assisted us when we thought we were at our worse.

My family and I extend our gratitude to the prime minister, the Hunts Bay police, the Hagley Park Seventh-day Adventist Church, Kingsway High, Jose Marti, Mona High, and all who assisted us in any way. Special thanks to Damian Hanson.
