It wasn’t me

THE EDITOR, Madam:
I refer to your article in Sunday’s newspaper bearing the title ‘Accountant Dawkins Brown struck off’. It asserts, inter alia, that based on legal filings, I was the chairman of the Public Accountancy Board and was one of the members of the panel that heard the complaint to the board against Mr Brown.
I resigned as president of the Public Accountancy Board effective November 12, 2018. I had absolutely no involvement in the matter relating to Mr Brown, neither before my resignation nor after.
I would appreciate your publishing this information as soon as possible so as to correct the falsehood.
