Two persons have been held for the beheading of a sixty-year-old man whose body was found in his community of Martha Brae, Trelawny yesterday.

Police reports are that the headless body of Lionel Lewis known as Alfred was found at 4:15 p.m. near the main road in the community after he was seen alive about an hour earlier.

His head has not been found.

The police nabbed two suspects who are being interrogated.

However, the police say no motive for the murder has yet been established.

This is the third murder in the parish since the start of the year.

The other murders were that of 75-year-old Violet Rowe of Litchfield and 34-year-old Meaton Ferguson of Wakefield.

Rowe was hacked to death by a man of unsound mind in her community, while Ferguson was killed gangland style, when a group of men stormed a club and shot him multiple times.
