Magna Motors Dealership Jamaica Limited's ambition to become a top motor vehicle seller domestically has continued to surpass the company's expectations as they have significantly grown to be one of the leading automotive brands in Jamaica.

Aligned with the company's delivery of superior customer care and service, and through the combined efforts of administrators and staff, the exclusive distributors of Hyundai in Jamaica are now known locally for both quality and innovation, world-class luxury vehicles and exceptional industry-leading experiences.

According to Juan Vargas, general manager at Magna Motors in Jamaica, the Hyundai ownership experience is a major pull factor for their customers as they continue to raise the standard of automotive customer care and service in Jamaica.

"Magna Motors Dealership has brought the global Hyundai modern premium philosophy to life in Jamaica, elevating the brand's visibility, providing new value and experiences through exceptional performance, emotional elegance, contemporary designs and affordable prices," Vargas told The Gleaner in an email interview.

Globally, for the first half of 2015, Hyundai reported sales of 2.4 million units, with Elantra, Sonata and Genesis being the best-selling models. Hyundai is ranked fourth among all brands in the J.D. Power US Initial Quality Study SM.

Top winners from the Hyundai fleet include the 2015 Hyundai Tucson, which was awarded for the highest initial quality in the small SUV segment, and the 2015 Hyundai Accent, which earned the highest honour in the small-car segment for the second year in a row.

SERVICE SUPPORT

Vargas indicated that when a customer joins the Hyundai family, they are taken care of every step of the way with unparalleled service and support and the confidence that customers have placed in them as a company.

"We have been able to deliver big on our promise to provide added value and top-class customer service through our five-year warranty, state-of-the-art Hyundai service centre, Hyundai-certified technicians and our comprehensive parts inventory. All these factors work in synergy to create an appeal for Hyundai and we will continue to create the best driving and ownership experience in Jamaica," Vargas said.

The new showroom, according to Vargas, represents Magna Motors' commitment to the development of Jamaica's automotive industry with an investment of more than US$10 million to date, since entering the Jamaican market last August.

"We have immersed ourselves in Jamaica since we started operations last year, and we are happy to see the appreciation for what we are doing. Hyundai sales have been surpassed our initial expectations. Magna Motors currently has operations in the Dominican Republic and Cuba, and our focus now is on building the brand in Jamaica and ensuring our customers have the best experience with us," Vargas said.

Until October 31, there will be a factory clearance on all 2016 models, inclusive of no down payment, a special six per cent interest rate with the National Commercial Bank for 24 months, and eight and a half years to repay.

This offer also includes up to 70 per cent off on insurance, and two years of free servicing at 22-24 Balmoral Avenue, Kingston 10.
