The ancillary worker at the St Thomas Technical High School who was charged along with two male students following an incident at the school last month was granted an extension of his bail when he appeared before the St Thomas Parish Court yesterday.

Twenty-seven-year-old Kadeen Henry and the two boys were charged with assault occasioning bodily harm.

However, when the parties involved in the case turned up for court it was discovered that the matter was not listed.

No explanations were given.

However, the presiding magistrate set the mention date for tomorrow and ordered the investigating officer to present the file in court for that date.

It is alleged that on January 30, two female students were involved in a fight at the school when Henry intervened.

It is further alleged that a male student used indecent language in addressing Henry who then held on to him and attempted to take him to the office when another student intervened and a physical altercation ensued.

Henry later reported the incident to the Golden Grove Police Station where he was subsequently charged.
