Labourer fatally shot in Clarendon

The bloodletting continued in Clarendon last night with the latest victim being 24-year-old labourer Nickoy Jonae Smith, of Bushy Park in the parish, who was shot and killed in May Pen.

Its reported that about 8:30 Smith was among five persons who converged at a stall located at the entrance of Main Street in the town when two men on a motorcycle appeared.

The pillion got off the motorbike and fired several shots hitting Smith and another man.

They along with the other persons in the group ran and the attackers escaped on the motorcycle.

The injured men were later taken to hospital where Smith was pronounced dead.
