GK MPay makes money mobile
GraceKennedy Money Service's Tuesday night launch of its groundbreaking GK MPay smartphone app was a spectacular event.
With drones flying overhead and a spotlight at almost every angle, it was obvious that something big was in store. As soon as guests entered the venue at the Hope Zoo, they were given a tag with a word that would create a phrase when combined with another tag worn by someone else.

A huge registration centre was full of guests signing up for the new and exciting offering.
GK MPay is a virtual wallet that allows you to do all the things you would do daily with money - purchase phone credit, pay bills, buy goods and services, as well as receive and send remittances. Once you have a smartphone, you can use GK MPay. Your virtual wallet account can be funded from different sources such as cash over the counter, peer-to-peer transfers and business to consumer payments. Once the cash is added to the wallet, you can conduct all your business.

GraceKennedy Group CEO Don Wehby was as excited as the guests were at the launch.
He noted that GK MPay was one of the most exciting releases from the GraceKennedy group, which will mark its 95th anniversary on February 14. After nine and a half decades of operations, GK MPay proves that the GraceKennedy brand is as vibrant and pioneering as ever.
