The curtains came down on this year's festival of foods with the final regional staging in Kingston.

On Friday, June 18, the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) took over the Girl Guides headquarters on Waterloo road for what was also their largest display.

Over 300 entries across a cross section of culinary categories were submitted, with more than 50 gold medals awarded.

The event was staged in partnership with Excelsior, Grace Earth Chef, National Bakery,Ting and The Gleaner. Here are the highlights:
