THE EDITOR, Sir:

The late Minerva Cooke, a humble but articulate lady, had served above self the people of this country for many decades, the record will reveal that she had been a tower of strength in many ministries of government at which she gave dedicated contribution for the betterment of her brothers and sisters in all spheres of life.

Up to the time of her passing, she was the most senior administrative person in the office of the minister of transport and works.

My family and I would like to use this opportunity to express our sincere condolence to Maurice, their children, grandchildren and pray that her soul will find rest in the company of saints.
