THE EDITOR, Madam:
Rev Thwaites, it is exceedingly good that you are able to identify and call out bad governance in 2024.
It would have been exceedingly good if you had identified bad governance during that period of Operation Pride, when there were identified inadequacies in its operations or when there was unsatisfactory accounting of postal services funds.
In fact, it is paramount and imperative, that government be held accountable for ensuring good governance at all times, but this should be consistent for whoever forms the government and not just for the government that you do not support.
