Orr, Morgan and Cargill were charged with murder for the death of Deane who died in hospital on August 6, 2014, as a result of injuries from a beating while in police custody for possession of a ganja spliff.
Cargill, who is a deaf-mute and mentally challenged, has since been declared unfit to enter a plea or to stand trial by two medical experts.
