Several Mona High students, teacher rushed to hospital following explosion

Several students of the Mona High School in St Andrew were on Thursday afternoon rushed to the University Hospital of the West Indies following an explosion during a scientific experiment.
It is understood that following the explosion there were cries for help from students.
Several students, along with one teacher, were immediately rushed hospital for medical treatment.
The conditions of the students and teacher could not be immediately ascertained.
Efforts to reach Mona High School Principal Kevin Jones were unsuccessful.
