Prisoner found dead at Hunts Bay lock-up

The Hunts Bay Police say they are awaiting the outcome of a post-mortem to determine the cause of death for 24-year-old Adjay Williams of Olympic Gardens, Kingston 11.
According to the police, Williams was found unresponsive in his cell at the lockup during routine checks about 8 o' clock yesterday morning.
The police say Williams, who was a charge of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm, was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
They say the Inspectorate of the Constabulary and the Independent Commission of Investigations have been informed of the incident.
