Mona lead the way
Mona were on top after five finals on day two of the JISA Seprod Prep Schools Track and Field Championships at the National Stadium yesterday.
Mona led the way with 44.5 points ahead of Our Lady of the Angels Prep 22, Wolmer's 20, Knox Junior School 18, Stella Maris Prep 15, defending champions Hydel Prep 14, Quest 11, Sts. Peter and Paul Prep 9.5, Vaz Prep 8.5 and Emmanuel Christian Academy seven.
Shari-Lee Gardner of Wolmer's Prep won the Class One girls high jump with a leap of 1.45 metres. Lauren Barrett of Sts. Peter & Paul pocketed the silver medal with 1.40m with Shante McFarlane of Stella Maris third, also with 1.40m.
The meet ends today with the first event set for 10.30 a.m.
